Houston, TX – Utility Worker Killed In Galveston Rd Pedestrian Accident

Houston, TX (April 2, 2019) – Around 10:45 a.m. on April 1, Houston Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Galveston Road and Clear Lake City Blvd. According to reports, a utility worker was standing in the middle of the road while escorting an oversized load when he was struck by a driver traveling southbound along the roadway.

The utility worker sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by the Houston Medical Examiner.
