Marshall, TX – 3 Killed, 1 Injured In I-20 Crash With Tractor-Trailer
Marshall, TX (April 2, 2019) – On Monday, April 1, Texas Department of Safety responded to a collision just after 10 p.m.
The incident occurred along the eastbound side of Interstate 20. Early investigations of the report found that the driver of a tractor-trailer was towing a semi-trailer when it was hit by a Ford SUV. The impact of the collision forced the SUV to flip forward and land on its roof. The SUV then caught fire, killing two back passengers and one front passenger in the vehicle. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Shreveport hospital for medical treatment.
Our warmest condolences go out to the families of the victims who lost their lives in this very tragic incident. We hope the driver injured in this collision is able to get the medical treatment necessary to make a full recovery.
