Orange County, TX – Six Injured In Collision On Interstate 10
Orange County, TX (April 5, 2019) – Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a collision around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4.
The incident occurred along Interstate 10 near mile marker 859. According to reports, 50-year-old Albert Rutledge Jr. was traveling eastbound along Interstate 10 in a 2018 Dodge pickup truck when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a prisoner transportation van that was driven by 37-year-old Serina Watts.
The impact of the collision caused the Dodge to crash into the concrete barrier along the roadway before being hit by a commercial motor vehicle. Six prisoners sustained injuries in this incident and were transported an area hospital for treatment.
