Vehicle Accidents in Texas
The Texas Department of Transportation states that the leading cause of most vehicle accidents in Texas is failure to control speed, which has caused approximately 108,466 accidents. Drivers speed when they are under the influence, in a rush, or street racing. Even though drivers think they have control of their vehicles at all times, after a certain level of speed is reached, it’s harder for drivers to quickly step on their brakes in the event of an emergency.
