San Antonio, TX – SAPD Officer Injured In Crash On Culebra Rd.

San Antonio, TX (April 18, 2019) – During the early morning hours of April 18, San Antonio Police Department responded to an officer-involved incident near the convenience mart on Culebra.

Just after 1 a.m., a San Antonio Officer was struck by an SUV in his vehicle in the parking lot of the 7-11. Road conditions caused the driver of the SUV to lose control of their vehicle, resulting in this collision.

The injured officer was transported to SAMMC with serious head and back injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.

Our thoughts are with the injured officer and his family at this time.  We hope for a complete and swift recovery.
