Waco, TX – 3 Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision on Hewitt Drive
Waco, TX (April 27, 2019) On the night of April 25th, a two-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Hewitt Drive and Imperial Avenue. The reports show that a vehicle was headed westbound on Imperial Avenue when it rear-ended a Chevy Tahoe that was headed north on Hewitt Drive. The impact of the collision caused the Tahoe to roll over and land in a way that trapped the driver.
When the paramedics came, they helped free the driver of the Tahoe, who is a police officer. She suffered injuries and was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest. Two occupants in the initial vehicle were also injured and given treatment.
The investigation is ongoing, but the police cited the driver who rear-ended the Tahoe.
We wish all three injured victims a fast recovery as they begin their healing process.
