Jefferson County, TX – Two Injured in Two-Car Collision on Highway 73

Jefferson County, TX (April 28, 2019) On the 27th of April, a two-car collision happened on Highway 73, just west of LaBelle Road. Two vehicles crashed into each other for reasons still under investigation. The major collision happened at about 8:30 p.m.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from serious injuries and had an emergency helicopter fly them to the closest hospital. One of the injured victims was taken by Labelle Fannet ESD 4 med unit.

Crews shut down the road as they cleared the crash site and investigated.
