Polk County, TX – Two Killed In Crash On US 190

Polk County, TX (April 30, 2019) – On April 28, Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision along US 190, just five miles east of Livingston.

The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. when a Dodge pickup truck crossover over the center lines of the roadway and struck a 2003 Cadillac pickup truck head-on. The impact of the collision caused the Cadillac to catch on fire.

The driver of the Dodge, later identified as 40-year-old Alton Kimes, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. His passenger, 40-year-old Noami Moodi, was transported to CHI St. Luke’s Hospital then transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the families of Mr. Alton Kimes and Ms. Noami Moodi.  Our thoughts are with them at this time.
