Lockhart, TX – Raul Granby Killed In Crash on Toll 130
Lockhart, TX (May 9, 2019) – Just after 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, a 2012 Peterbuilt TTST was traveling north along Toll 130 when its front left tire had a blowout.
The driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer into the inside lanes. Upon entering into the lane, the semi-truck struck a motorcycle, which was attempting to pass it.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were both ejected. The driver of the motorcycle, who was identified as 56-year-old Raul Granby, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident.
The passenger on the motorcycle, who was only identified as Granby’s wife, was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
