Canton, TX – Nicholas Richardson Killed In Crash On SH 19

Canton, TX (May 31, 2019) – Just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on SH 19 near the intersection of CR 1103.

According to reports, 19-year-old Nicholas Stone Richardson was traveling south along SH 19 in a 2011 Buick Enclave when he crashed into the rear-end of a garbage truck, which was stopped for a school bus in the roadway.

Richardson sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Some passengers inside the vehicle were pinned in and had to be extricated by responding firefighters.
