Riviera, TX – Crash On Highway 77 Results In Injuries
Riviera, TX (May 31, 2019) – Just before 6 a.m. on May 31, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 77.
According to reports, an 18-wheeler clipped a car along the roadway. The impact of the collision caused the semi-truck’s tire to blowout. The driver of the semi-truck then lost control of their vehicle. The driver of the semi-truck then struck a white-car head-on before rolling over.
Several people were injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation. Law enforcement confirmed another vehicle traveling along the roadway went into a ditch in an attempt to miss the incident.
