Victoria, TX – 3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on Houston Hwy
Victoria, TX (June 1, 2019) On the late afternoon of May 31st, a two-vehicle accident happened on Houston Highway, not far from Hospital Drive. A 51-year-old man named John Crye was traveling in his Ford Escape when he struck a Highlander as he was making a left turn. The impact of the crash caused the Highlander to roll over and land right-side up. The Highlander contained a 28-year-old driver named Adam Garcia, his passenger Brittney Garcia, and a young child.
When the paramedics arrived, they found all of the occupants inside of the Highlander injured and took them to Citizens Medical Center for immediate medical attention. Crye did not sustain any injuries.
Authorities are currently investigating to determine what led up to the dangerous accident.
Our thoughts are with Adam Garcia, Brittney Garcia, and the child as they recover from their injuries.
Vehicle Accidents in Texas
Sadly, 814 people lost their lives at intersections throughout Texas after being involved in vehicle collisions. When drivers make left turns without checking for oncoming vehicles, they risk seriously injuring themselves and others.
At Benton Law Firm, we are constantly fighting for the rights of our clients to help them receive money for medical treatment, vehicle damages, and much more. We believe that accidents could be avoided if drivers refrained from driving negligently. Therefore, when they do, they should be held financially liable for all damages and losses they cause.
