Austin, TX – Cecil Wade Walker Killed In Interstate 35 Crash

Austin, TX (June 7, 2019) – On June 3, the Austin Police Department responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident in the 12000 block of Interstate 35.

Preliminary reports provided by the Austin Police Department show that a 2002 silver Mercedes was traveling south along Interstate 35 when it struck a pedestrian along the southbound side of the roadway.

The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene of the incident and cooperated with law enforcement.

Police later determined the pedestrian was 49-year-old Cecil Wade Walker.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
