Copperfield, TX – Bicyclist Killed In Crash On FM 529
Copperfield, TX (June 11, 2019) – On June 8, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on FM 529, just west of Texas 6.
According to reports, a bicyclist was crossing FM 529 when he was struck by a white Dodge Ram 2500 heading east along the roadway.
The bicyclist was severely injured in the collision and airlifted to Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center for treatment. Authorities confirmed that the bicyclist succumbed to their injuries.
The driver of the Dodge, who was identified as Dewayne Arkadie, was arrested and charged for driving under the influence.
