College Station, TX – Two Injured In Collision On George Bush Dr & FM-2818

College Station, TX (June 12, 2019) – On Tuesday, June 11, the University Police Department was attempting to stop a vehicle on George Bush Drive, when the driver fled the scene. As the driver of the vehicle made their getaway, they crashed into a vehicle near the intersection of George Bush Drive and Farm to Market Road 2818.

Two people inside the vehicle were injured and transported to CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan.

Officers were able to stop the vehicle and detain the passenger. The driver fled the scene and stole a Dodge Utility truck, which they later ditched in Evergreen Circle.

The incident remains under investigation.
