Fort Worth, TX – Dianna G. Birge Killed In Incident On Eagle Mountain Lake
Fort Worth, TX (June 12, 2019) – On Sunday, June 9, emergency crews responded to the scene of an incident on Eagle Mountain Lake.
According to reports, 55-year-old Dianna G. Birge was on a sailboat with three other people on the lake. As the group rode their boat along the lake, a storm rolled in. The impact of the storm caused the sailboat to flip over. Birge went overboard and was unable to be located for some time.
Crews arrived on the scene to search for the woman for over two hours. Her body was later discovered on the southwest side of the lake, approximately 100-yards from where she was last seen.
Birge was pronounced deceased at 3:58 p.m.
