Lufkin, TX – Rhonda Finch Injured In Crash On South First Street

Lufkin, TX (June 12, 2019) – Just before 6 a.m. on June 11, Lufkin Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1500 block of South First Street.

According to reports, 48-year-old Rhonda Finch was parked in the outside northbound lanes in a 1998 Mercury, with emergency flashers on, when it was rear-ended by a 2012 Ford pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Brady Kelly.

Finch sustained serious injuries in the collision and was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler for medical treatment.

Kelly was uninjured in the collision. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
