Muleshoe, TX – Student Injured In Bus Crash On TX-214

Muleshoe, TX (June 12, 2019) – Around 2:20 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a bus accident on TX-214.

Reports show that a school bus from the Muleshoe ISD was carrying elementary students north along TX-214. The bus attempted to turn west onto CR-1028 when it was struck by a semi-truck.

At least one student on board was transported to a hospital in Lubbock for treatment to injuries sustained in the collision. Eight other students injured were transported to Muleshoe Area Medical Center. The driver of the semi-truck sustained incapacitating injuries in the collision as well and was transported to a hospital in Lubbock for treatment.
