Houston, TX – 3-Year-Old Hit & Killed At Westchase Grand Apartments

Houston, TX (June 13, 2019) – Just before 7 p.m. on June 11, Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a child-involved pedestrian accident at the Westchase Grand Apartments located at 10800 Richmond Ave.

According to reports, a mother was backing up with her SUV when she struck her 3-year-old son, who was standing in the parking lot. Witnesses alerted the mother, who was backing up her vehicle when she struck the young boy.

The child was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed from his injuries.

The incident remains under active investigation.
