UPDATE – San Antonio, TX – Dylan Trevino Killed and 3 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on SW Military Dr
San Antonio, TX (June 16, 2019) On the morning of June 15th, a fatal two-vehicle collision happened at the intersection of Southwest Military Drive and Commercial Avenue. A pickup truck was speeding and rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The impact of the crash caused the car to end up a quarter of a mile from the intersection.
When the paramedics, fire department, and police arrived, they found four injured victims pinned inside of the vehicle that had been rear-ended. They used the Jaws of Life to remove all of the victims and found that one of them had sustained fatal injuries. He has been identified as Dylan Trevino. The three remaining victims sustained critical injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital available.
Although two of the four occupants inside of the pickup truck fled the scene, they were shortly caught by the police and all of them are expected to face charges.
Our thoughts are with the family of Dylan Trevino. We also wish the other three victims a complete recovery.
