Dallas, TX – Fatal Injuries Reported In Harry Hines Blvd Collision
Dallas, TX (June 17, 2019) – Just after 1 a.m., on June 16, emergency crews from Dallas reported to the scene of a collision in the 11100 block of Harry Hines Boulevard.
According to reports, a 19-year-old male was traveling north along the roadway in a 2006 Cadillac Escalade when he struck a pickup truck. The impact of the collision forced the pickup truck to crash into a second vehicle.
The three-vehicle collision caused a significant amount of damage to all vehicles involved. The driver of the pickup truck escaped the incident uninjured. The driver of the second vehicle, who was identified as a 42-year-old male, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Escalade and his 21-year-old passenger attempted to flee the scene of the accident on foot. Both individuals were apprehended. The driver is expected to be charged with intoxication assault and intoxication manslaughter.
