Elm Mott, TX – Crash At Heart O’ Texas Leaves Three Injured
Elm Mott, TX (June 17, 2019) – On June 14, emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway just after 10:30 p.m.
According to witnesses, a car struck a wall during a race while traveling at a high rate of speed. The impact of the collision caused debris to fly from the vehicle and land in the catwalk outside of the track.
Three males, who were walking down the catwalk were struck by the debris. The three victims sustained head and chest injuries and were transported to Hillcrest Medical Center. One victim was transported by air while the two other injured men were transported by ambulance.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
