Amarillo, TX – RV & Semi-Truck Collision On Folsom Road Results In Injuries
Amarillo, TX (June 18, 2019) – On June 17, around 2:30 p.m., the Amarillo Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Folsom Road near Highway 60.
Reports indicate that an RV was traveling north along Folsom Road. While preparing to turn west onto Highway 60, the driver of the RV failed to yield the right of way to a semi-truck traveling down the roadway. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The male driver and female passenger of the RV sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the collision.
At this time the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
