Melissa, TX – Crash On Highway 121 Results In Injuries
Melissa, TX (June 18, 2019) – On June 18, emergency crews from the Melissa Fire Department, Anna Fire Department, McKinney Fire Department, and Westminster Fire Department, along with the Collin County EMS and multiple law enforcement agencies responded to a major motor vehicle collision along Highway 121 near County Road 419.
Reports from responding authorities state that numerous vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. While at the scene, crews had to extricate injured victims from their vehicles on the roadway. This incident resulted in a major delay for traffic through the area.
One person was transported via PHI Med 2 air transport to Medical City Plano for immediate treatment.
At this time the collision remains under investigation.
