Weatherford, TX – Kaylin M. Wells & Unborn Baby Killed In Collision On FM 51
Weatherford, TX (June 19, 2019) – On June 16, at 4 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 51 just north of Bagget Road.
Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate that 23-year-old Joshua Laposky was traveling north on FM 51 in a 2009 black Ford Mustang when he crossed over the center median for unknown reasons. As Laposky’s vehicle entered the southbound lanes, it struck a Nissan Sentra driven by 25-year-old Luis Romero-Rivas.
The passenger in the Nissan, 22-year-old Kaylin M. Wells, was transported to Fort Worth hospital for medical treatment. Authorities confirm that Wells succumbed to her injuries. At the time of the collision, Wells was pregnant. Authorities confirmed that the baby did not make it.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of Kaylin M. Wells and her unborn child. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
