San Antonio, TX – Child Injured by Car On Austin Highway

San Antonio, TX (June 20, 2019) – On Wednesday, June 18, around 5:20 p.m., San Antonio police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Austin Highway.

Reports from the incident indicate that a girl was with a group of people along the roadway. For unknown reasons, the girl separated from the group and entered into the road where she was struck by a car.

The girl sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to University Hospital immediately following the incident.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
