Mildred, TX – Collision On Highway 287 Results In Injuries
Mildred, TX (June 21, 2019) – On Sunday, June 16, just after 2:15 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 287 just two miles south of Mildred.
According to reports, a 2012 black Mercedes and a 2011 blue Chrysler 300 were traveling south along the roadway. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Mercedes pulled into the right shoulder in an attempt to make a U-turn. As a result, the Chrysler struck the driver’s side of the Mercedes.
A passenger inside the Chrysler, who was identified as a 76-year-old woman, sustained injuries and was transported to Navarro Regional Hospital for treatment.
