Montgomery County, TX – 22-Year-Old Killed In State Highway 242 Crash
Montgomery County, TX (June 21, 2019) – At approximately 11:02 p.m. on June 20, emergency crews from the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 242.
Reports indicate that a driver in a Mustang was traveling along the highway when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed over the center line and struck another vehicle. The impact of the collision forced the second vehicle to flip over.
The Mustang then bounced off and struck a Honda. The impact of the second collision split the Mustang in half. The driver was then ejected.
The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident. The mother and daughter in the first vehicle that flipped over sustained injuries and were both transported to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the Honda sustained injuries in the collision as well and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
