Seguin, TX – 2 Injured in Big Rig Accident on FM 725
Seguin, TX (June 22, 2019) On the afternoon of June 20th, a big rig accident happened on FM 725 at the Interstate 10 underpass. An 18-wheeler truck struck a Mazda 3 that was turning onto the Interstate 10 underpass from FM 725. The accident occurred at approximately 12:58 p.m.
When firefighters and paramedics arrived, they found a passenger trapped inside of the Mazda and immediately extricated them. An emergency helicopter flew the injured victim to Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle. The driver of the Mazda also sustained injuries and was transported to Seton Hays via ground ambulance. The big rig contained a driver and a passenger, both of which were unharmed.
Authorities are investigating the accident to determine why the big rig struck the Mazda.
