Melissa, TX – Construction Worker Seriously Injured By Semi On US 75 Access Rd
Melissa, TX (June 25, 2019) – On June 24, just before 3 p.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident on Southbound 75 near the outer loop in Melissa.
According to reports, a construction worker was using equipment on the roadway when he was struck by a semi-truck. The driver of the semi fled from the scene of the incident.
The injured worker was transported to an area hospital in very serious condition via air ambulance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
