Austin, TX – Collision On West Gate Boulevard Sends Five To Hospital
Austin, TX (June 27, 2019) – On June 27, Austin Police and the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of West Gate Boulevard and the northbound service road for South Lamar Boulevard just before 9 a.m.
According to reports, two vehicles collided along the roadway for unknown reasons. A child was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be rescued by emergency crews. The child and one man were transported to an area hospital with serious and life-threatening injuries.
Three other adults sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the collision remains under investigation.
