Longview, TX – 2 Killed and 2 Injured in Two-Car Accident on Alpine Rd
Longview, TX (June 30, 2019) On the 28th of June, a two-car accident happened on Alpine Road, right between Loop 281 and Boston Street. A vehicle was traveling southbound when it somehow crossed the center divider and crashed into an oncoming vehicle in the northbound lane.
When emergency crews arrived, they found that the driver and passenger in the southbound vehicle both sustained fatal injuries. The passenger in the front seat survived but still sustained injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The driver in the northbound lane sustained injuries as well and was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The police department is still investigating to determine why one of the vehicles crossed into the opposite lane.
