Plainview, TX – Two Injured After Semi Crashes Into Building On I-27
Plainview, TX (July 1, 2019) – On July 1, police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1300 block of South I-27.
According to reports, 50-year-old Joeshannon Leroy White was traveling along the roadway in a semi-truck when experienced a tire blowout, which caused him to crash into the Panhandle Popcorn building.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the collision and was transported to Covenant Plainview hospital for treatment.
One person inside the building, who was identified as 50-year-old Jill Marie Degon, suffered incapacitation injuries. Degon was transported to UMC in Lubbock via AeroCare for treatment.
