Rusk County, TX – Johnny Ray Taylor Killed and Another Injured in Crash FM-95

Rusk County, TX (July 4, 2019) – A young man was killed and his passenger injured in a single vehicle collision on FM-95 on Monday, July 1st. The accident was reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety to have occurred at around 11:35 p.m. 

The investigation found that 24-year-old Johnny Ray Taylor was driving a 2013 Ford Focus northwest on FM-95 when the vehicle left the roadway. The driver continued off the road until striking a tree on the driver’s side.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene and then transported to a funeral home in Henderson. 

His 15-year-old passenger was taken to a medical facility in Tyler where she was in critical condition. 

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation at this time.
