San Antonio, TX – 2 Injured in Drunk Driving Crash on I-35 at W Mayfield Blvd

San Antonio, TX (July 4, 2019) – Two are reported injured after an allegedly drunk driver slammed into the back of a broken down vehicle on the side of the road. The crash happened in the early hours of Thursday, July 4th, at around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of I-35 and West Mayfield Blvd. 

It was reported by authorities that the men were attempting to fix their car when a truck slammed into the back of their vehicle. 

Both victims had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.

The at-fault driver was arrested under suspicions of driving while intoxicated. 

The crash is currently being investigated by local police officials.
