Bellmead, TX – 2 Injured In DUI Collision On I-35

Bellmead, TX (July 5, 2019) – An officer from the Department of Public Safety that two people were hospitalized for sustained injuries in a crash on I-35 at marker 338 in Bellmead. The crash happened in the early morning of Friday, July 5th, at around 7:30 a.m. 

The officer claims that an erratic Dodge van struck a Ford SUV from the rear. 

The driver of the SUV and their passenger were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center for medical treatment. The identity of the victims and their current condition have not been released.

The driver of the Dodge was charged with a misdemeanor for driving while intoxicated.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
