Lorena, TX – 2 Hospitalized After Collision With 18-Wheeler On I-35 at Callan Ranch Rd
Lorena, TX (July 5, 2019) – A traffic accident early Friday morning, July 5th, resulted in the hospitalization of two injured parties. The wreck occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 35 southbound at the intersection with Callan Ranch Rd.
Authorities report that the collision involved two 18-wheelers. The cause of the crash is not yet known. One of the semis caught on fire after the crash.
One truck driver was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco while the other was transported by ambulance.
One driver involved sustained burn injuries in the collision.
The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
