Odessa, TX – Drunk Driver Arrested After Car Accident Near Odessa

Odessa, TX (July 6, 2019) – An alleged drunk driver was arrested in Texas on Saturday, July 6th, after police say she hit two 6-year-old twin girls, killing them both.

The twin girls were standing with their family by a fireworks stand on Wednesday, around 9:00 p.m., when Angelica Garcia allegedly drove through a barricade, struck both children, and crashed into a large trailer near Club Drive.

The girls were transported to Medical Center Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Garcia, 36, was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.
