Fort Worth, TX – Man Killed In Tow Truck Accident On I-35 At TX-170
Fort Worth, TX (July 8, 2019) – Local news sources report that a man in Fort Worth was killed in an accident involving a tow truck in the early morning hours of Monday, July 8th. The incident happened around 3:00 a.m. on I-35 westbound near TX-170.
Police reports indicate the driver of the tow truck pulled over to the side of the highway to attempt to secure a vehicle that was being towed from a nearby apartment complex. For unknown reasons the vehicle began to move, striking the man.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene of the accident.
No other information has been released at this time.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
