San Antonio, TX – UPDATE: David Tellez ID’d In Fatal Crash On I-37 At Fair Ave

San Antonio, TX (July 8, 2019) – Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was killed after being struck by multiple vehicles on Wednesday, July 3rd, on the south side of San Antonio. The incident took place on Interstate 37 near Fair Ave. in the evening around 10:00 p.m. 

The man was identified as 30-year-old David Tellez. 

Authorities at the scene reported that Tellez was walking along Interstate 37 when he was struck by at least three vehicles. 

Only one of the drivers involved in the incident remained at the scene of the accident. 

Tellez sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead by assisting paramedics. 

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, and local officials are seeking information that may lead to the discovery of the other drivers involved.
