San Antonio, TX – Woman And 2 Children Injured In Crash At Roosevelt Ave And E Southcross Rd

San Antonio, TX (July 8, 2019) – Local officials report that a woman and two children were injured in the aftermath of a car crash that took place in San Antonio on Sunday, July  7th. The accident happened at 2700 Roosevelt Ave. at Southcross Rd. around 8:00 p.m.

Reports indicate that a Ford Explorer was traveling west on Southcross Rd. when for unknown reasons the vehicle struck a curb, causing the driver to lose control. This resulted in the Ford being thrown into oncoming traffic and being struck by a silver Toyota. 

A young female passenger in the Toyota sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision, and its driver and a young male passenger experienced serious injuries. 

The three injured parties were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment.

Police believe the driver of the Ford was intoxicated at the time of the crash. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
