San Antonio, TX – Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run On Chicago Blvd

San Antonio, TX (July 9, 2019) – On Monday, July 8th, around 9:30 pm, a woman in her 50s was critically injured in a hit-and-run collision in San Antonio on Chicago Blvd.

The victim, 62-year-old Carolina Villanueva, was walking with her son in a neighborhood area when she was struck by a vehicle on Chicago Blvd. She was critically injured in the collision. 

Paramedics arrived and transported Villanueva to Brooke Army Medical Center, where she later died.

The driver of the white sedan failed to remain at the scene following the crash and will be facing charges of failing to stop and render aid when they are identified. It is believed that the front end of the involved vehicle sustained damage. 

Police are investigating the cause of the collision and are seeking any information that may reveal the identity of the driver.
