Hit-and-Run Crashes in Texas
The state of Texas is ranked within the top 10 in the country for hit-and-run fatalities.
From 2015 to 2016 alone, the state experienced a 30 percent increase in the number of hit-and-run accidents.
There is a strong correlation between these crashes and DWI rates, with intoxicated drivers being more likely to participate in reckless activities such as hit-and-run collisions.
These victims are overwhelmingly pedestrians who sustain serious injuries.
At The Benton Law Firm, our Texas hit-and-run accident lawyers want to hold these negligent drivers responsible for their careless actions that resulted in the injury of a loved one.
