San Antonio, TX – Man Extracted From SUV After Crash At 700 Castroville Rd
San Antonio, TX (July 10, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, July 9th, a crash on the west side of San Antonio resulted in the driver of an SUV requiring extraction from their vehicle. The accident took place on 700 Castroville Rd. at around 6:30 a.m.
The SUV began to swerve in and out of the lanes on the roadway. The driver was attempting to avoid colliding with the SUV but was unsuccessful. The collision caused the driver of a delivery truck to strike a pole. The delivery driver was not injured.
Emergency respondents had to cut the driver out of the SUV. He had visible injuries to his leg. It is unsure if he sustained any other injuries in the crash.
The roadway was closed following the accident.
An investigation is currently underway.
