San Antonio, TX – Update: Karen Rocio-Medina ID’d As Mother In DUI Crash On Roosevelt Ave

San Antonio, TX (July 10, 2019) – The mother who was injured alongside her two children, ages 5 and 3, in San Antonio on Sunday evening, July 7th, has been identified. The accident happened at around 8:00 p.m at the 2700 block of Roosevelt Ave. near Southcross Blvd. 

New sources indicate that a green Ford Explorer T-Boned a silver Nissan driven by the woman.

She has been identified as Karen Rocio-Medina. Rocio-Medina and her two children were injured in the crash, and they were taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) for treatment. The 3-year-old girl sustained severe injuries. 

Carlos Perez, the driver of the Ford, was charged with Intoxication Assault and Retaliation.

An investigation is underway.
