Shelby County, TX – Mark Beercroft Injured In Hit-And-Run On TX-7
Shelby County, TX (July 9, 2019) – A man was injured in a hit-and-run accident late in the evening of Monday, July 8th.
The incident happened at around 10:15 p.m. on East TX-7 when the victim was struck by another vehicle traveling eastbound. The vehicle that struck the victim, reported as being a red pickup truck, left the scene of the accident.
The victim of the accident has been identified as Mark Beercroft of Colorado. The crash reportedly knocked Beercroft into a ditch. He was able to exit his vehicle, despite the injuries, and walk to a nearby home to ask for help.
Beercroft was taken to a local hospital and later released after being treated for injuries sustained in the hit-and-run accident.
The crash is currently under investigation. Police are looking for details that may identify the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle.
