Odessa, TX (July 11, 2019) – On July 8, around 1:30 a.m., emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in the 2100 block of Andrews Highway.

According to reports, a 62-year-old man was attempting to cross the roadway when he was struck by a four-door pickup truck.

The driver fled the scene of the incident without stopping.

The man sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
