Port Arthur, TX – Bicyclist Injured In Crash On Memorial Blvd
Port Arthur, TX (July 12, 2019) – On July 12, around 12:35 a.m., Port Arthur Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Memorial Blvd and 25th Street.
Reports from the scene indicate that a man was traveling along the roadway on a bicycle when he was struck by a motor vehicle near the intersection. The driver who struck the bicyclist fled the scene of the incident without stopping.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the man in the roadway, suffering from serious injuries. The injured man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Division at the Port Arthur Police Department.
