Corpus Christi, TX – 1 Killed and 2 Injured in Head-On Collision on County Rd 44

Corpus Christi, TX (July 13, 2019) On the morning of July 13th, a head-on collision happened on County Road 44, not far from County Road 79. A sedan and an SUV crashed head-on at around 10:30 a.m.

When the paramedics arrived at the scene to help, they found two occupants inside of the sedan and three occupants inside of the SUV. They found the driver of the sedan dead at the scene. They found a woman and her toddler injured inside of the SUV. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital via an emergency helicopter while the toddler was transported via ground ambulance.

The police are still investigating what led up to the fatal head-on crash.

Our thoughts are with the deceased driver’s family as they begin grieving. We also wish the woman and the toddler a quick and complete recovery.
