Austin, TX – 1 Killed in Pedestrian Accident on I-35

Austin, TX (July 14, 2019) On the morning of July 14th, a fatal pedestrian accident happened on the Interstate Highway 35. A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the 200 block of the highway near Cesar Chavez. The accident happened at around 4:15 a.m.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian lying in the roadway seriously injured. Despite life-saving attempts, the pedestrian died shortly after the collision. The accident is still under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the deceased pedestrian’s family at this time.
