Austin, TX – Pedestrian Killed While Crossing Interstate 35
Austin, TX (July 18, 2019) – On July 14, Austin Police and emergency crews responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 300 block of Interstate 35.
Reports from APD show that around 4:20 a.m., a 43-year-old male was attempting to cross the Interstate when he was fatally struck by a 2007 blue Ford Explorer.
The driver of the Ford remained at the scene of the incident waiting for law enforcement to respond. Crews reported to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
